So, just to update my author journey – I have now finished work for the festive holidays and have received my structural edits for my first full commercial psychological thriller which will be released Spring 2020. These focus on speech, characterisation and improvements for the structure. It’s the first time I have had to do these, but I am dedicating my non-day-job time to get as much done as possible.
I can’t share any spoilers or post much about the content at this stage, but having re-read this book now with fresh eyes… I am like OMFG, this is some twisted shit and I cannot wait for it to be released. A lot of time, effort and hard work has and is continuing to go into it to hopefully make it really, really great for readers in 2020.
Aside from edits on the Spring 2020 book, I am also 80% complete on the first draft of the October 2020 thriller, and in addition to this I have been jotting down ideas for some thrillers for 2021. It seems like my head is split into three priorities of Past, Present and Future.
I’m relatively aware I am still an unknown author at this stage, with mot prominence on Twitter – I’m not sure if anyone is reading this site, but if so… have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2020.
